OV is Hiring for Summer 2026!
OV is actively recruiting for the 2026 summer season! We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team in the following positions:
- ✅ Certified Lifeguards
- 🏊 Swim Instructors
- 💦 Swim Aides
- 🍿 Non-guard positions (Meet Concessions, MADDOG Camp, and more)

🛟 Lifeguard Duties & Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Certifications
Responsibilities:
- Guard and protect swimmers at all times
- Greet members and guests in the office
- Manually check in guests and verify paid memberships
- Record financial transactions and answer member questions
- Maintain a friendly attitude — and be firm on safety when necessary
- Help maintain a clean environment for all patrons
- Assist with Snack Shack operations as needed
- Attend mandatory monthly in-service trainings
- Complete additional duties as explained during staff training
🏊 Swim Aide Qualifications & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Swim 200 yards without stopping
- Tread water while holding a 10 lb weight for 60 seconds
- Understand basic water safety principles
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment
- Be fully aware of and responsible for children in your group

- Ability to operate a cash register
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
